Unfortunately not much has happened over the last few weeks. Everything has come to a grinding halt right at the end of the whole process as we wait for a delay at the suppliers with the floorboards.
Up until today I hadn't heard from Metricon since last week and unfortunately I missed the call on both occassions. I'm hoping to get a full update tomorrow including when our inspection will be. At this point MyMetricon has it as this Friday but it probably won't be until next Friday when the floorboards are in. At this stage we're going to be lucky to have the keys by the wedding.
Another update soon when I know more....in the meantime..still waiting.

ReplyDeleteWe are also building our house with metricon in Alamanda.Up to last week we had a good experiance with our Builder.We on the final stage and waitng for the Floor Boards.But now Metricon is saying it's discountinue and Supplyer is saying that it's out of stock....
but there is bit of Dramma.....

ReplyDeleteI see by the blog that you managed to sort out your issues. What type of floorboards were they? We had spotted gum.
We also managed to get an upgrade to the 4000 series because the 1000 had been discontinued.
Best of luck with finishing it off.
