Day 83 - Pre-Fixing Inspection

Tomorrow we have our inspection for the fixing stage which will be the second last inspection before we take the keys.

Toady I had a call from the SS and he said that things were way ahead of schedule and that they were working on rectifying the outstanding issues including the windows without the rubber seals, some roof tiles that aren't on correctly, doors that are on back order and a few issues with the plaster.

We got in trouble for going into the house...when I say in trouble they said you shouldn't be going in and taking photos etc, but I think the only reason being that for some reason my SS's boss seen the photos of the issues outstanding, not sure how that happened.

He said that normally after painting and tiles it is about 4-5 weeks to completion, or at least that's what they aim for. At the moment we're at about the 12 week (3 month) mark and we're in the final stage of completion. Working on a rough timeline that could put us in anywhere from mid September all going well right through to the end of October I hope as a worst case if we run into issues.

I'll post some photo's after the inspection tomorrow, apparently the painting has begun.
